Yay paintings!
The concept behind this piece came from a talk I had with a close friend. We both agreed that although we're really close, we don't absolutely HAVE to see each other, like, every single weekend to remain happy. Some people socially strain themselves on the weekends so much instead of taking even a little time to themselves.
So this piece came from the idea of "the magnitude of solitude" and how being alone isn't all that bad. It's actually great for generating new thoughts and pondering life's abstractions.
This painting was loosely inspired by Kandinsky.
Original is pretty big... maybe 44"x40"-ish.
